Don’t let him or her (especially him) leave home without knowing how to:-

• Wash up (manual and machine)
• Vacuum
• Clean the bathroom
• Make a bed
• Do a load of washing (without shrinking or colours running)
• Iron simple things
• Dust (when to rather than how to)
• Boil an egg (or make spaghetti bolognese)
• Clean the oven (or is that too advanced?)
